The sound behind the house

about

I spent the Easter holidays with my family in the parent house. It is the last house in the village under the forest. A few meters behind the house is a creek, around which birds sing early in the morning. It is an immeasurably calm sound. That's why I decided to record it. I have been sleeping with hearing aids for several years and I have heard the sound of nature or ocean. I want to share with you this beautiful sound that surrounds me in these isolated times. It was not easy to record this sound. I recorded a few mornings until I got the purest sound and found the best microphone position. Sometimes you hear the bug walking on the microphone. The silent crack is heard. 52 minutes contain what I like about music. Free rhythm form, unexpected sounds and requires concentration.

You can meditate with this sound or create a feeling of beautiful nature in quarantine.

about

David Kollar Prešovský kraj, Slovakia

Kollar treats his music with a deep degree of seriousness and personal involvement, as if each and every one of his projects was not only his proverbial brain child but as if it was his actual offspring. He treats his instrument as a gateway between his complex ideas and their audible representation, the same way a sculptor treats the chisel or a painter the brush."
