I decided to record the album Son in the beginning of 2013, when my son David
was waiting for a second surgery. It was very difficult and painful period, which I also took as a challenge to move somewhere else.
I recorded the feelings that were inside me and around me. I wanted to conceive the album differently than I did before.

"The Child" is not a journalistic text-intervention, but a fantasy, which is close to the experience of many people. - This is not a drama about how hard it is to adopt a child in Poland, and how terrible are the institutions that mediate this. It is easy to say that each institution is oppression, and from this position to tell the world. I do not like the ambiguity. This is a story about how people cope in a situation that is beyond their unexpectedly - explained Iwasiów.
